Trpana – or actually in short Trpa – is my grandmother (see picture above). I actually called her majkica, which is something like a “sweet” word for the word “majka” which means mom. We lived with her and my grandfather (see picture below) in one house a big part of my youth and although she didn’t like her name, I liked it very much since it was more original than my own name and I decided to call my blog after her. I have only good memories of her and my grandfather, so it seemed a right choice. If you btw think it’s strange that a word has so many consonants next to each other like Trpa, then you haven’t heard my grandfathers name yet! His name was Krste. Another good name, isn’t it?
